A Brake to My Hectic Life
It's Friday 13th!!! well it's to others who belive it
for me it a holidays~ I'm in KL now..
Well being in medical ward from orthopedics totally change my everyday schedule from simple and leisure life to ultimately hectic live every single day...
what do you expect when 2 inadequate HOs managing 30-40 people in a ward? Well sometimes there's only 1 of us. Every day ward round ends at 12 noon - 2 pm. Discharges. Plenty blood taking. Referrals..in active wards at least more than 10.."Doctor, patient collapsed!" CPR!! Pengsan~
well that's life in medical ward..truthfully I enjoy my work but everyday of it make my body ache,my mind tired..that's the downside of shift system. It's not that I not grateful with it..but I don't think the hospital fully prepared for it.
"Afif you should know la this case in and out..."
"I want all my HO to be tip top"
"During my time..."
"Cepat la Afif banyak lagi patient ni.."
Sorry bosses. I try to be more efficient by time..InsyaAllah
compare to my time during orthopedics, I faced almost similar condition, 15-25 patient, 1 HO each ward..somehow I think I can manage it..I know my patient by heart. I blame my green experience in the medical ward..InsyaAllah it will be better with time
The saying that say time is gold totally applicable here. in fact time is sword as describe by Rasulullah saw, "Time is like a sharp sword,if you did not cut it, it will cut you"
May Allah grant us will to use our time with the best of benefit..

My Laziness
Day by day, my laziness worsen. Yet it is only a week from my end posting exam, 3 months from my final professional exam...oh Allah give me strength to go on. If only I could turn back to my previous self where the hardworking me keep on study and study...I miss my old self.

O God, I seek refuge in You from feeling cramped and restless, and I seek refuge in You from weakness and laziness, and I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stingy, and I take refuge in Thee from the clutches of debt and violent people
And to Allah I pray...may I become more istiqamah in every deeds.

Genetics Peril

"MLD was a strange and unfamiliar word within Mohamad and Kamariah's household. But when this enemy took away their eldest daughter's life, they were taken by surprise. From that day onwards, they did not know it the, so things began to get worse. They were totally unprepared when further tests showed that all their five children had symptoms of dreaded genetic disease. All was not lost, however, for there was a cure but the cost was tremendously high. They were devastated. It was an endurance test for the family; every minutes mattered, every cent counted, every prayer appreciated. Their plight caught the nation's attention and everyone shared their miseries. It was a suffering like no other; a struggle that was to last more than twenty years!Share with them this touching and unforgettable experience. For this is a story where we can reflect our own lives, and the true meaning of love. What lies ahead, no one really knows..."
I've finished reading this book...truly recommended this. Seriously for someone who really, really hate to read even for the academic purpose, it is hard to finish a book what else a novel (I've never finished reading any novel before). One must wonder how on earth that I became a medical student...haha. In life, there a so many ways to study other than diligently reading books. (Hey I do read books ok!)
I amaze on how parental love could do and how the love turned into extraordinary willpower and patience. When I read this book, I wonder if I could act as what Dr. Imran has done to his patients....may ALLAH guides my path.
Currently trying to find the original Malay version of it, Zuriat.

Trial in Life
Allah tests his servants in different way...
Allah test one with our study....school exam, SPM...
Allah test one with pregnancy...
Allah test one with doubtful thoughts...
Even our joy is a test from Allah.
But remember Allah did not test us on something that we could not bear..
Setiap kesusahan itu, ada kesenangan...
May Allah give strengthen our iman. Ameen.

Feeling hopeless, worthlessness...due to study? or life event?
well we should be grateful actually for being relatively normal physically/mentally compare to others.... and even the unfortunate have a fortunate life. Why not us? Watch this. Hope it will elevate our motivations.
